The OVAs will be shipped along with the 22nd compiled book volume of the manga on May 19.
The OVA is a preview of what the episodes will be based on. There will be three episodes in total:
- Kaguya-sama Darkness Volume 1
- Kaguya-sama Darkness Volume 2
- Kaguya-sama Tabesasetai (Kaguya-sama Wants to Eat)
The teaser trailer revealed that the first episode will be a fanservice episode and gave us a peek at it, showing the characters in swimsuits.
The second episode will be centered around a particular mysterious book, and the third episode will be a food battle!
There were speculations that something big is going to happen after the manga hiatus ends on May 13, and now we know what it is going to be!
The franchise also has a live-action series going on, of which the first part was released in 2019, and a sequel will be coming on the big screen in August 2021.
