The Hayasaka family entered the scene in chapter 255 of Kaguya-sama: Love is War titled “The Hayasaka Family Doesn’t Approve.”
It was an action-packed chapter combined with some drama and an unexpected red flag. The Hayasaka family unexpectedly helps our protagonists in their mission, which adds a lot to the drama in chapter 255.
We got to know about the actual plan Gan’an had in his mind. Everything happening right now is like a test for our protagonist, Shirogane, to win his girl and show that he is worthy of her.
Now they have the support of the family closest to Gan’an, so it is going to get more entertaining in the coming chapters.

1. Episode 256 Speculations
Our protagonists will keep carrying on with the mission in the next chapter. The new problem that has come up is the sudden entry of Oko Shinomiya in this quest for the will. He leaves no stone unturned to get what he wants (even abusing the chairman himself).
Even so, with the Hayasaka family taking our protagonist’s side, the ball is in Shirogane’s court for now, but no one knows what Oko is going to do next. What’s even more interesting is that we finally see Kaguya, and it seems like she knows where Gan’an’s safe is.
The drama is getting intense with each chapter. Shirogane will go for the mountain (after having a yakisoba party), and he has to face a new rival now. What will he do, and will Kaguya help them out? These should probably be the main focus of the next chapter.

5. Chapter 255 Recap
Hayasaka Ai and Chika are surrounded by some goons on the corner of some street. Hayasaka is ready to fight them with a knife in her hand when a middle-aged lady shows up criticizing Hayasaka for not being careful and pulling out a knife.
Chika is surprised to know that the lady is Ai’s mother. Chika gets scared of her mother as she lectures about what to do in such a situation.
Her mother tells them that Oko is furious because Gan’an has told Shirogane about his will. He had planted a listening device in Gan’an’s hospital and heard the conversation between the chairman and Shirogane.
Oko is out there searching the chairman’s house, but he can’t find the safe. The scene flashbacks to when Oko made Gan’an forcibly sign the will in his name.
Gan’an had thought about equally distributing the property among his children, but Oko is entirely against that and wants all of it for himself (the baldy is greedy as hell).
He tells Gan’an that Oko is his only option as Seryu is a money-grabbing idiot, and he can’t trust Un’yo completely because he is a sly fox and, most of all, Kaguya is a woman.
Gan’an unwantedly signs the will, but now the will is nowhere to be found. One of Gan’an’s secretaries tries to stop him, but he overwhelms her and starts asking about where that can be.
One of them tells him that Gan’an had a hidden cabin where he would go to meet Nayotake. That means they have to search the whole mountain to find the safe.
It is revealed that this is a test for him to find whether he can entrust his daughter to Shirogane. Oko angrily asks Masato Hayasaka about the will, but he refuses to tell him that he serves only Gan’an and not Oko.
On the other side, Hayasaka’s mother tells Hayasaka and Chika that what is happening will ruin their family’s reputation, hence, they will help Shirogane find the will.
As Hayasaka and Chika are about to leave, one of the goons tries to attack them, but Hayasaka electrocutes him and promises Chika to protect her. This catches Chika off guard, and she allows Hayasaka to kiss her after all this is over (the ship is sailing).
Kaguya hears the commotion in the house about her father’s will and hidden cabin. She thinks about whether they are talking about that (the ‘that’ here is not revealed).

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. It began serialization in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump in May 2015 and was transferred to Weekly Young Jump in March 2016.
Student council president Miyuki Shirogane and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya appear to be the perfect couple. Still, both are too proud to confess their love and scheme to make the other confess their love first.
