2. Chapter 235 Discussions and Predictions

After the end of the last chapter, I think everything is back to normal between Osaragi and Iino.

Now even Osaragi is wholeheartedly supporting the Iino/Ishigami ship. All that is left is for them to confess their feelings to each other.

I personally feel like it will be Iino who will make the first move. Then Ishigami will come clean and express his feelings, too, finally making them a couple.

Chapter 234, titled “The Buddha’s Stone Begging Bowl” (Part 9), starts with Iino blatantly asking Osaragi if she had a fight with Iino.

Osaragi states that it was not really a fight but more of a falling out. Ishigami goes on to say that he is jealous of their dynamic and wishes he had a close childhood friend.

He further tells her that regardless of what happens in the future, she should approach IIno and clear the air. 

As Osaragi leaves the room, she crosses paths with Iino. They both now want to clear the air, so they go to the roof to express their thoughts.

Before Iino can even say anything, Osaragi cuts in and tells her that she likes Iino and has liked him for quite some time. 

She also assures her that she will not make a move on him as she came to terms with it long back. She just does not want to see her with him.

She mentions how they became friends due to mere circumstances, and were bound to drift apart. 

Iino admits to having been stuck by Osaragi just because she did not want to be lonely. She also states that despite her initial reason, she does like her now and would not want to do anything to hurt her. 

Iino offers to give up Ishigami since Osaragi feels so strongly against it, and she means it. Osaragi is kind of moved by this gesture and makes Iino promise that she will make Ishigami happy.

The chapter ends with Osaragi giving her approval to Iino,and they both  back to being the close friends they always were.
