In Chapter 216, Kaguya had a girls talk with her friends after eavesdropping on the President’s conversation.

She gathered her friends Maki, Nagisa, and Ai for the kitty party and all of them started discussing about the Shijo and Shinomiya families.

They discussed about Mikado’s sudden transfer to their school and the power struggle between the two families. Later, Kaguya interrupted the intense conversation and asked for her friends’ advice regarding her love life.

4. Recap of Chapter 216

In chapter 216 titled “Kaguya and the Girls Want to Talk”, Kaguya gathers all her friends to spill the tea about her overhearing the boys’ conversations.

However, before Kaguya could get right into the topic, Ai Hayasaka and Maki Shijo start discussing about Mikado’s sudden transfer to their school.

Maki is astonished by Ai’s sudden concern for the Shinomiya’s, but she is suspicious of her brother, Mikado, and feels that the Shijo family has already started planning something to take down the Shinomiyas.

Maki tells the girls that the power struggle between the Shijos and Shinomiyas has already started and both families are trying to centralize all their company shares.

The girls fear they cannot do anything to prevent this and are mere scapegoats of the whole situation.

Later, Maki questions Kaguya’s motive in gathering everyone to the get-together. Kaguya who had been quiet the entire time finally spills the beans.

She shares that she overheard the boys talk about their love-lives and asks for the girls’ advice. Hearing this all the girls give their opinions to Kaguya and reassures her that even the boys are afraid of taking the next step in their relationship.

All the girls finally come to the conclusion that boys take the relationship stuff lightly and are quite aloof about it.
