Episode 2 Speculation
The anime adaptation of Kaguya-sama often juggles between different chapters and doesn’t follow the manga in its chronological order.
In the next episode, we might see Miyuki and Osaragi joining forces to improve the relationship between Ishigami and Iino. Since the beginning, they have been pretty hostile towards each other, but maybe it’s time for romance to blossom between them.
We could also see Miyuki going out for karaoke with some of his classmates. At first, Kaguya might like this idea since, as the president, it’s important for Miyuki to socialize, but her joy would turn into jealousy if there were girls involved in the plan.

Episode 1 Recap
The episode begins with banter between Ishigami and Iino, resulting in the two ignoring each other and minding their own business. Iino sits down to study and plugs in her earphones.
She starts playing peaceful ambient sounds that leak out in the student council room since her earphones are only partially plugged in.
Ishigami notices the sound but welcomes it because, after all, they are peaceful sounds. He thinks of telling Iino that her earphones aren’t plugged all the way in but decides against it.
Soon, the calm forest sound turns into head-wrecking construction site sounds, which then transitions to a camel’s bellow. What surprises Ishigami the most is when Iino’s playlist plays a track of positive affirmations whispered by handsome guys.
He tries to tell her that her music is leaking out but gets interrupted when the rest of the student council enters the room.
Iino pauses her track for a moment to greet Kaguya, Miyuki, and Chika, and Ishigami takes this as an opportunity to warn Iino about her earphones. He plugs his own headphones partially and plays upbeat music that can be heard by everyone in the room.
Iino still doesn’t take the hint and resumes her studies. She hits play, and the room fills up with the voices of boys trying to motivate their listeners. Iino is embarrassed when she realizes that everyone can hear her unusual tracks and rushes out. Everyone is rightfully shocked and decides to not mention it ever again.
After the day ends, Kaguya relaxes in her room before bedtime. She receives a text from Miyuki on Line but doesn’t know about reading receipts. After leaving him and her other friends on reading for two hours, Miyuki finally realizes that she doesn’t know about the read receipts system.
To confirm his theory, he sends her a few more texts, and when they’re instantly marked as read, he discovers that she had kept their chat window open for two hours.
Miyuki texts Kaguya and explains to her how the system works. He then calls her to elaborate, but Kaguya makes Hayasaka answer the call, begging her to help her out of this embarrassing situation.
Hayasaka picks up his calls and tells him that all the texts that Kaguya receives are monitored by her home security, and hence, they’re marked as read in an instant. Flustered by this revelation, Miyuki cuts the call and accepts his defeat.
The next day, Chika challenges the gang to an arm-wrestling match after Ishigami calls her weak. Despite cheating, she doesn’t make it to the final round. Unsurprisingly, the two finalists are Kaguya and Miyuki.
Instead of taking the game seriously, the two drag out the game just to hold hands. Hours later, Kaguya decides that she’ll gently lose the match to make Miyuki look good. This, however, does not happen when she realizes how sweaty her hands are.
Kaguya puts in all her strength and ends up defeating Miyuki and hence, earning the nickname “Princess muscle.”
