Kagurabachi Chapter 10: Release Date, Speculation, Read Online

After Sojo’s surprise attack in chapter 8 of Kagurabachi, it was inevitable that the two enchanted blades would clash. Chihiro tries to hold out until the Kamunagi gets to Hinao’s cafe. However, Sojo has deluded himself into thinking he is the only one who understands the true purpose of Rokuhira.

Chihiro tries his best to prove him wrong and keep his father’s wishes alive. Here are some latest updates.

3. Chapter 10 Speculation

After hearing that Sojo thinks the purpose of the enchanted swords is to kill and that they are meant to be murder weapons, Chihiro is furious. Chihiro’s primary goal is to keep the blades from falling into the hands of people like Sojo, who are going against everything his father wanted. In the next chapter, you might see an enraged Chihiro fighting Sojo.

Since Chihiro is pretty injured, Nishiki might be his finishing blow. Although, it is hard to tell if that will be enough to take Sojo down. Sojo is barely injured, and he is not even out of breath. However, Chihiro can barely stand. Chihiro will have to hold out until external help arrives. Azami and Shiba should realize something is wrong and rush to help.

4. Chapter 9 Recap

Chapter 9, titled “Enten vs Cloud Gouger,” begins with Azami and Shiba discussing Sojo’s motives. It does not make sense for Sojo to auction the swords. The only reason behind the auction can be bait for the Kamunabi. Since Sojo has the Cloud Gouger, he is confident he will win against the Kamunabi.

All the blades were on one side during the war, so they never clashed with each other. It has been a week since the anniversary of the war’s end, and there is a special exhibit where Rokuhira is portrayed as the hero. Rokuhira and his swords brought an end to the war, so he is greatly revered. However, if the enchanted swords battle against each other, it will be nasty for his legacy.

We switch to the battle between Sojo and Chihiro, where Chihiro’s head is filled with questions, but the battle takes his entire focus. Sojo is surprised Chihiro escaped nearly unscathed from his attack. Chihiro takes the fight outside on top of a building so there are no casualties.

Chihiro knows what Cloud Gouger can do, so he can easily counter-attack. Sojo is interested in finding out how Chihiro, a supposed nobody, wields an elusive enchanted sword. They talk while engaging in a fierce battle. Chihiro has already depleted much of his energy, so he can only go full throttle once. He has to make an opening.

Sojo starts talking about how he truly loves Rokuhira. He has read everything he could find on him, and he got Cloud Gouger as well. He was thrilled. Again, Sojo asks why Chihiro has an enchanted sword, but Chihiro refuses to answer. Sojo changes his question to gauge if Chihiro is worthy of the sword and asks why he wields the sword.

Chihiro responds, “To defeat evil and protect the weak”. He learned from his father, Rokuhira, that this was the true purpose for creating the swords. However, Sojo refuses to believe it and jumps off the building to attack civilians to show what he believes Rokuhira “truly” wanted, which is to kill.

Just like Azami said, if the two swords battle against each other in the city, there will be civilian casualties. If that happens, Rokuhira’s heroic reputation will be ruined. Sojo’s attack on the civilians will have dire consequences for Rokuhira’s legacy. However, Chihiro stops him by absorbing the attack.

Sojo is surprised that Chihiro stopped him and goes to attack again. However, he cannot use Cloud Gouger for another twenty seconds because it needs to recharge. Chihiro knew this and used it to help the civilians escape. In reality, Sojo is the one who does not understand anything, and Chihiro will prove it.

Chihiro calls Nishiki, fully prepared to end Sojo and show him the true purpose behind creating the swords.
