Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 6: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 5, titled “The Chosen Maidens,” was aired this week. 

Last, we saw Ai felt guilty for leaving Watanabe behind with her stalker. She went back to help her and witnessed Watanabe and Taichi having fun with the stalker. Ai was annoyed at Watanabe as she felt betrayed. Watanabe and Ai cut off ties with each other.

In episode 5, Watanabe helped Ai out and protected her from guys who were making her feel uncomfortable. Ai then tried her best to convey her feelings to Watanabe and apologized to her. Yamada finally was able to get out of her rut and healthily work on herself.

Episode 6 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 6 is titled “A Glimpse of Stardom.” 

Since the girls witnessed firsthand how a professional Kouka star performs, they are all driven to achieve their goals and be one of the best in the future.

I’m glad Ai is working on her social skills as she has realized that she cannot make it in the world of idols being the reserved person she used to be.

Although all the girls are exceptional in their unique ways, we can be sure to see the duo of Ai and Watanabe shine brighter than the rest and people recognize their caliber before they even become real stars. 

Episode 6 Release Date 

Episode 6 of the Kageki Shoujo!! anime, titled “A Glimpse of Stardom”, has been released on Sunday, Aug 08, 2021.

I. Is Kageki Shoujo!! on Break This Week?

No, Kageki Shoujo!! is not on break this week. Episode 6 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 5

Episode 5, titled “The Chosen Maidens,” starts off with Watanabe mentioning to her classmates how she has not watched many Kouka shows.

Her classmates are shocked and decide to go for a show so everyone can experience it firsthand. 

During all this, Ai is making a genuine effort to reconcile with Watanabe for being rude to her earlier by saying that she does not want to be her friend. 

She speaks to Taichi about it, and he tells her not to fret about anything and just speak her mind as Watanabe would genuinely appreciate it. 

The girls go for the show, and they happen to see professional Kouka stars. They are in awe as soon as they set their eyes on them. 

During the show, everyone is mesmerized by the performance. The show is a depiction of Romeo and Juliet, and the emotions are very evident. 

After the performance, Watanabe is very moved by what she just witnessed and has her own little performance of Romeo and Juliet. 

During this moment, Ai approaches her, apologizes for being rude, and asks her to be her friend.

Cut to a few days later. Yamada’s health is deteriorating because of her unhealthy diet. She keeps eating and forcefully puking it out, and it shows. 

The teachers catch up to her actions. Onodera is more concerned for her than the others teachers. 

However, not long after, she faints during one of her classes, and the doctor tells her to take some days off to get rest. 

Yamada is reluctant to do so as she does not want to be left behind by her classmates. She contemplates quitting and going back home, but Onodera tells her not to give up on herself and keep at it as she is one of the chosen maidens.

The episode ends with Yamada recovering her health and showing up for class, impressing everyone with her singing skills.

Kageki Shoujo! is a Japanese manga series by Kumiko Saiki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Jump Kai from 2012. An anime television series adaptation by Pine Jam is scheduled to air in July 2021.

The Kouka Kageki Musical Drama Academy is a high school that teaches musical theater like that at the Takarazuka Revue, and splits its actresses into those who play male and female roles.

Ai Narada is a former idol who becomes a musume-yaku (female role) actress and meets Sarasa Watanabe, a simple farm girl who is an otoko-yaku (male role) actress.
