Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 5: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Kageki Shoujo!! episode 4, titled “Tears Overwritten,” was aired this week. 

Last, we saw Ai blatantly told Watanabe that she does not consider her a friend. We also got to see a glimpse at Ai’s past and what made her become the emotionless person she is now who avoids everyone. 

Ai felt guilty for leaving Watanabe behind with her stalker. She went back to help her and witnessed Watanabe and Taichi having fun with the stalker. Ai was annoyed at Watanabe as she felt betrayed. Watanabe and Ai cut off ties with each other.

Episode 5 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 5 is titled “The Chosen Maidens.” 

Ideally, since  Watanabe helped Ai out and rescued her from men who were harassing her, their relationship is set to improve and not go downhill gradually. 

Also, it would be great if Ai is able to alter her rigid mindset about men and work on herself after completely misreading her stalker’s intention.

Since the focus has been on Ai all this time, we all looked over the fact that Yamada’s mental and physical health is deteriorating, and hopefully, she is able to recover from it. 

Episode 5 Release Date

Episode 5 of the Kageki Shoujo!! anime, titled “The Chosen Maidens”, has been released on Sunday, Aug 01, 2021.

No, Kageki Shoujo!! is not on break this week. Episode 5 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 4

Episode 4, titled “Tears Overwritten,” starts off with Ai ditching Watanabe when her stalker approaches her. 

However, once Ai leaves, the stalker comes clean and states that he just wants to apologize to Ai for causing problems for her in the past.

Watanabe deducts that the stalker is a decent guy and is close to revealing personal information to him, but luckily Taichi shows up and interrupts her.

They then go to a nearby bench, and the stalker reveals everything about his past. He mentions how he feels like he is in debt to Ai as watching her on TV made him turn his life around. 

At that moment, one of Watanabe’s classmates clicks a picture of her and the stalker to ruin her reputation. 

Meanwhile, Ai feels guilty for leaving Watanabe alone with the stalker and goes to aid her as she is under the impression that something terrible has happened to her. 

When she reaches the spot, she sees Watanabe and the stalker dancing and having fun. Ai is annoyed as she feels betrayed and tells Watanabe that she hates her. 

Later, when Watanabe asks Ai what’s wrong, Ai tells her everything under the clause that she would leave her alone. Watanabe also claims to be done with her after their brief conversation. 

The next day, Ai decides to skip out on school and goes by the ocean as it calms her down. However, some men recognize her to be an idol and approach her and get touchy with her. 

Ai feels helpless and breaks down. Just then, her stalker arrives at her rescue and injures himself in the process. He is followed by Taichi and Watanabe, who yells out for help, making cops drive the creeps away.

The episode ends with Ai thanking her stalker and apologizing to him for misunderstanding his intentions in the past. She also significantly improves her relationship with Watanabe by opening up to her.
