Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 14: Release Date, Speculation, and Watch Online

Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 13, titled “Kageki Shojo!!,” was aired this week.

So far, we already saw most of the students perform amazingly. Out of which, Ai and Ayako stood out the most for the role of Juliet. Sawa was being intimidated by Sarasa as they were both running for the same role, but she did not let it hold her back and gave it her all.

Yet, Sarasa was able to one-up Sawa when it came to her performance. After all, she is a God-gifted prodigy. The judges were moved by her performance and later announced the names of the ones who cleared the auditions.

Episode 13 was the finale of the first season of Kageki Shoujo!!

The release date of the second season has not been revealed yet. It’s not even confirmed if there will be a second season.

For now, all we can do is hope to get a second season since we thoroughly enjoyed the first season.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see our girls gain more experience in the show business and make it as top Kouka stars.

Yes, Kageki Shoujo!! is on break for the foreseeable future. As of now, there are no updates on the second season.

Recap of Episode 13

Episode 13, titled “Kageki Shojo!!,” starts with Andou giving his best performance to intimidate his students.

He clearly shows them that he is on another level.

Everyone is feeling bad for the students who are paired with Andou as they will no longer be able to give their best performance as they’re flustered after seeing him.

Sarasa is also taken back by his performance but snaps back to reality by recollecting what Daidai told her regarding the execution of one’s voice.

Thus, she is able to play out a “Tybalt” that impresses everyone, especially the judges who were expecting her to falter.

The outcome of the auditions came in, and Sarasa got the role of “Tybalt.” To everybody’s surprise, Ayako gets the job of “Juliet,” instead of Ai. 

This leads to her classmates doubting the judges’ decision. Kaoru, who also fails to get the role of “Romeo,” backs Ayako, saying she deserves the role.

Ai didn’t get the job of “Juliet” only because her “Juliet” is too mature, and “Juliet” should be a guiltless 14-year-old young lady.

Sawa, who was a close second to Sarasa, concedes to Andou that she can’t beat prodigies like Sarasa. She is then comforted by Tomomi, her second-year partner.

The episode ends with the Centennial Class clicking a photograph for the banner confirming the opening of the admissions for the 101st Class.

Kageki Shoujo! is a Japanese manga series by Kumiko Saiki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Jump Kai from 2012. An anime television series adaptation by Pine Jam is scheduled to air in July 2021.

The Kouka Kageki Musical Drama Academy is a high school that teaches musical theater like that at the Takarazuka Revue, and splits its actresses into those who play male and female roles.

Ai Narada is a former idol who becomes a musume-yaku (female role) actress and meets Sarasa Watanabe, a simple farm girl who is an otoko-yaku (male role) actress.
