Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 13: Release Date, Speculation, and Watch Online

Kageki Shoujo!! Episode 12, titled “Surely Someone,” was aired this week. 

So far, we saw our first years were given a chance to perform for the Kouka School Cultural Festival Show in the latest episode. It was really unfair to see that only four students could be chosen out of the forty students who auditioned. 

We already saw most of the students perform amazingly. Out of which, Ai and Ayako stood out the most for the role of Juliet.

Sawa was being intimidated by Sarasa as they were both running for the same role, but she did not let it hold her back and gave it her all.

Episode 13 Speculations and Discussions

Episode 13 is titled “Kageki Shojo!!.” 

Everyone has given their all and put up their best performance. Sarasa is the only one who is left to audition.

The plot twist here is that she has to play the role of Tybalt with her teacher, Ando, as Romeo. 

I’m sure Ando has something in mind. He only has good intentions, but he can sometimes take it a little too far. 

Nonetheless, we can be sure that Sarasa will have a rocky start, but then she will get a hold of herself and perform excellently.

No, Kageki Shoujo!! is not on break this week. Episode 13 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 12

Episode 12, titled “Surely Someone,” starts with Ayako preparing to perform in front of her classmates and the judges.

She was under the impression that she could just go by unnoticed since many students were trying for Juliet’s role. 

Ayako is not confident in her skills and thinks that she cannot compete with the others. She then reflects on her past and recollects her origins. 

It further takes a toll on her confidence. Then, out of nowhere, Sawa motivates Ayako to give it her all, breaking her nervousness. 

She then gives the performance of her lifetime and moves everyone. Everyone is actually considering that she has a better chance of getting Juliet’s role over ai. 

Even Ai acknowledges her as a worthy rival, and she is ecstatic that she made her teacher, Onodera, proud.

After her, Sawa auditions for the role of Tybalt. In the beginning, she is nervous and intimidated by Sarasa as they both aim for the same role, and only one can be chosen. 

Then she breaks out of it and performs without caring about anything. 

Meanwhile, Sarasa is preparing herself for her audition. She starts recollecting her memories from before she joined Kouka School and how she accepted Akiya as her boyfriend.

The episode ends with Sarasa surprised to see her teacher Ando taking the initiative to be a part of her audition by playing the role of Romeo.

Kageki Shoujo! is a Japanese manga series by Kumiko Saiki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Jump Kai from 2012. An anime television series adaptation by Pine Jam is scheduled to air in July 2021.

The Kouka Kageki Musical Drama Academy is a high school that teaches musical theater like that at the Takarazuka Revue, and splits its actresses into those who play male and female roles.

Ai Narada is a former idol who becomes a musume-yaku (female role) actress and meets Sarasa Watanabe, a simple farm girl who is an otoko-yaku (male role) actress.
