Jurassic World Actor Nick Robinson Addresses Potential Jurassic 4 Return

Jurassic World Star Nick Robinson reveals whether he will return for Jurassic Park 4. In 2015’s Jurassic World, the actor played Zack Mitchell, Claire Dearing’s nephew. 

Despite surviving the disaster at the park, Zack and his younger brother Gray do not appear in the sequels Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion.  Although Jurassic World: Dominion was supposed to be the trilogy’s finale, Jurassic World 4 is in pre-production.

In an interview with CoveredGeekly, Robinson said that he is open to reprising Zack’s role when asked the question. However, he also said that the character is likely undergoing therapy due to the trauma from the events of the previous film.

‘d love to! But, I don’t know – Zach [Mitchell], I think is probably still in therapy from the trauma of the first movie [laughs] but I’d love for that character to come back, it would be really fun.

Although Zack was enthusiastic, it is implausible that any legacy characters from Jurassic World will come back in the sequel. 

Jurassic World 4 is reportedly a reboot and will not return any character from the past films, including those played by Goldblum, Neill, Dern, Chris Pratt, and Howard. The creators seemingly want to start afresh and not repeat the same mistakes they committed in the previous sequels.

The Jurassic World trilogy has a lot of positive points, but the movies relied too much on the Jurassic Park characters and storylines. 

Essentially, Jurassic World became a more polished version of Jurassic Park as they told the same story with different characters and better CGI. The same argument is also valid for The Lost World and Fallen Kingdom.

Although Dominion reprised Dern, Neill, and Goldblum to revive the plot and instill some nostalgia into the viewers, their reunion with Dr. Frant wasn’t enough to save the drowning ship.
