The second season of The Ancient Magus’ Bride is arriving this April. It will further unfold the mysteries, the relationship between Elias and Chise, and what Ashen Eye plans to do next. The story is a unique combination of action and romantic fantasy that will make you want more.
On Thursday, the official website for the anime series released a second trailer. The video features the opening song “Dear” by JUNNA, who also sang the previous opening song “Here”. The Ancient Magus’ Bride is set to premiere on April 6.
The staff has also revealed more cast members who will be a part of the second season:

A special screening will also be held on March 11 at Tachikawa Cinema City’s Cinema Two in Tokyo. It will feature the second season’s first episode and a short, titled “Fuyu no Okurimono” (Winter Gift). JUNNA and Kazuaki Terasawa (Director) will also appear on stage.
The main cast and staff are returning for the second season. Studio Kafka is producing the series with Kazuaki Terasawa as the director. Aya Takaha, Yoko Yonaiyama, and Chiaki Nishinaka. Hirotaka Katō is designing the characters, and Junichi Matsumoto is composing the music.
The first season of The Ancient Magus’ Bride premiered in 2017, with Crunchyroll and Funimation streaming the series. A prequel OVA series titled The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Those Awaiting a Star was also released in the same year.
A second OAD series, The Ancient Magus’ Bride- The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm, was released in September 2021. It is bundled with the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth volumes.
