According to the latest reports, a new website domain has been registered for a potential Jujutsu Kaisen movie. However, there isn’t any official confirmation regarding it yet.
Sales of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga have multiplied tenfold since the release of the anime, and it’s the perfect opportunity for the franchise to maximize the profit margin with a movie.
However, the movie’s success solely depends on which arc it will adapt. Even if you aren’t a manga reader, you should be well aware of the upcoming ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’ through the multiple hints given in Season 1.
Fans worldwide have widely appreciated the arc, and I really believe that it is the perfect arc to adapt to a movie.
There’s also scope for an original story that will fit perfectly between the first and the second seasons, quite similar to the My Hero Academia or the Naruto movies.
