Yuji decides not to confess after recognizing her despite her significant change in look and instead focuses on her sentiments and perspective.
Soon, the trio meets with Utahime to talk about the traitor within Jujutsu High who has been working with the cursed spirits she identified: Mechamaru. They travel to confront the location of Kokichi Muta’s genuine body, only to discover that it has been abandoned, supporting her idea.
Meanwhile, Muta is challenged by Geto and Mahito, revealing that he committed to work with them for Mahito to use his Idle Transfiguration on him to heal his body. He cancels their agreement, causing Mahito to utilize his cursed skill to repair his body.
Muta displays a massive Ultra Mechamaru to exorcise Mahito before alerting Gojo about curses’ plans for Shibuya on Halloween.
