Being this summer’s most awaited anime, Jujutsu Kaisen premieres the first episode of its second season, leaving fans pumped up for the next one to air. This season’s initial episodes focus on Gojo and Geto and how Geto’s downfall eventually occurred.
Consisting of a flashback during Gojo’s second year of high school, this season will also focus on Gojo and Geto’s friendship and how they became best friends. Here are the latest updates.
1. Episode 2 Speculation
In the second episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, Riko will be introduced, as well as Gojo and Geto’s plan to get to her. The next episode will also be about Geto and Gojo’s friendship and the actions that led to Geto separating from Gojo and the others.
The next episode will also introduce Toji, who looks like another primary character in the series. He is assumed to be Megumi’s father, and the next few episodes will reveal how he got to know Gojo and why Toji isn’t with Megumi in the present.

3. Episode 1 Recap
In the past, a younger Utahime and Mei Mei are tasked with investigating a spooky house where many people have gone missing. While inspecting the inside, the two discover they are confined in an unending hallway due to the cursed ghost.
Second-year students Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieri arrive before they can arrange their escape, with the former two quickly disposing of the building and curse. Principal Yaga at Jujutsu High chastises them for failing to open a curtain.
After Gojo and Geto debate the relationship between sorcerers and non-sorcerers, Master Tengen assigns them a job. Tengen unites with a being known as a “Plasma Star Vessel” every 500 years to negate his Immortality cursed technique that prevents him from evolving beyond that of a human.
Gojo and Geto are recruited to defend the vessel, a young woman named Riko Amanai, who is being pursued by two factions: the curse user sect “Q” and the religious group “Time Vessel Association.” Gojo and Geto are ambushed by Q members on their way to Rika’s, with the latter saving Riko.
Meanwhile, Toji Zen’in, now going by his wife’s maiden name, Fushiguro, is hired by the Time Vessel Association to assassinate Riko because he lacks the strength to fight.
