Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 6: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

Episode 5 of Jujutsu Kaisen titled “Cursed Womb Must Die-II-” starts with Megumi waiting by the Detention Center gates when Sukuna appears behind him in control of Yuuji’s body.

Sukuna rips Yuuji’s heart out declaring that now he can be in control of the body. Megumi attacks Sukuna hoping he would decide to attach the heart back if he becomes weaker.

Later, Megumi manages to get Yuuji back into his body but he collapses due to a missing heart. Megumi and Kugisaki mourn as they think Yuuji is dead while Kugisaki gets introduced to Panda-senpai, Zenin-senpai and Inumaki-senpai.

Is Yuuji really dead? We will find out in the next episode.

Episode 6 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, titled “After Rain”, has been released on Saturday, Nov 07, 2020 at 1:25 am PDT.

2. Episode 6 Speculation

A small preview for Episode 6 was shown at the end of the fifth episode.

The preview features Yuuji trying to fight Sukuna as he tries to take back the control of his body.

Megumi seems to have her hands full dealing with Panda-senpai and his antics and Gojo-sensei is seen having a conversation with Ieiri-san.

3. Episode 5 Recap

Sukuna appears in front of an unexpected Megumi and threatens him. He then swallows the cursed finger obtained from the special grade curse and rips Yuuji’s heart out from his chest.

Sukuna declares that Yuuji will not be able to function without his heart but Sukuna will have no control of the body without it.

Megumi attempts to weaken Sukuna by fighting him with his shikigami. Sukuna dodges their attacks effortlessly and lands a heavy blow on Megumi.

Sukuna asks why Megumi ran from the special grade curse, which reminds Megumi of a memory of his step sister Tsumiki. She appears to be in a coma due to a curse. Megumi had resented his father for living his life however he wanted.

Megumi tells Yuuji that he had saved him back then because he wanted to. He admits he is nothing but a jujutsu sorcerer and admits he never regretted saving Yuuji.

Upon hearing this Yuuji regains consciousness of his own body but he collapses due to the missing heart.

Meanwhile Gojo sensei gets angry at the higher ups for sending first year students to defeat the special grade curse.

Ieiri-san appears inside the morgue and looks at Yuuji’s dead body. She wants to dismember Yuuji’s body and Gojo san appears to have given his permission to do so.

Later, we learn that it was Suguru Geto who had put Sukuna’s finger in the cursed womb so that the special grade curse would absorb its powers.

Megumi and Kugisaki mourn Yuuji’s death while 2nd year students Panda-senpai, Zenin-senpai and Inumaki-senpai visit the wake.

Megumi introduces them to Kugisaki and asks them to participate in the Kyoto Sister School Exchanging Event. Panda senpai promises to train them well for the event and the two agree to train and get stronger for the sake of Yuuji.

Jogo the cursed spirit asks Suguru on how to defeat the jujutsu sorcerers. He tells him that they have to render Gojo sensei incapable of fighting any battle and they have to get Sukuna and Yuuji on their side.

The episode ends with Jogo questioning whether Yuuji is seriously dead or not.

5. About Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen was initially published as a serialized manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018.

The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who is insanely fit despite hating athletics.

Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.

On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
