The end of the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen was enough to make a grown man cry. After just nonstop hype since episode 1, Jujutsu Kaisen ended the season on a high note, doing everything that the manga did, but better.
After taking down a special-grade curse, and following their performances in the exchange program, Megumi, Nobara, Itadori, Panda, and Maki were recommended for promotion to first grade by Todo and Mei Mei.
What awaits further for the trio is a top-secret mission, and they’re going to have to push themselves to their limits for this one too.
Till then, we bring the updates on the next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen.
1. Episode 25 Release Date
Although no specific date or timestamp for the release of Episode 25 of Jujutsu Kaisen has been announced, episode 24 ended with a “to be continued…” confirming the series will be adapted further.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a movie covering the prequel to the original story, has also been announced for the upcoming Winter 2022 release.
Even though Jujutsu Kaisen seems to be walking on the footprints of No Game No Life, hopefully, MAPPA won’t pull a Madhouse on us.
2. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Speculation
If the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen kept you on the edge of your seats with every episode, make sure to take your BP pills before you sit down to watch Season 2, as the plot and the level of fights are going to elevate from now on.
With Itadori eating another finger, Suguro Geto is going to pace up things. Having read ahead in the manga, all we can say without spoiling much is, the volcano is going to burst, and Itadori will use everything in his hand (or in his body) to stop it.

3. Episode 24 Recap
While Fushigoro takes care of the cursed spirit inside the barrier, Itadori Yuji and Nobara face the special-grade brothers, Eso and Kechizu.
As they try to evade touching Eso’s Rot Technique, Supreme Art: Wing King, Yuji carries Kugisaki and runs out the range of Eso’s attack.
But Kechizou takes the shortest route to sneak ahead of Itadori and Nobara, and attacks them with its blood.
With both the sorcerers dripping with its brother blood, Eso reveals the trump card and uses their technique, Rot Technique: Decay, which rots the host starting from the point of incursion.
Yuji has a time cap of 15 minutes, and in 10 minutes, Nobara will be rendered dormant. And since Eso revealed the technique, they will die even faster. However, these brothers have challenged the worst match for them.
Kugisaki’s technique Straw Doll Technique: Resonance uses the link to its target, and stronger the value of the lost portion, more effective the technique is.
Being inflicted by the brother’s blood, Kugisaki uses Resonance on herself and starts nailing brads in her arm, wreaking the pain to special-grade brothers too.
Itadori is a vessel for Sukuna, the King of Curses and Deadly Poisons, so he has resistance to all forms of poison. Since “Decay” is essentially a poison, it won’t affect him, but Yuji is still feeling the immense pain of “decomposition.”
However, pain is not enough to stop the duo, and they both attack the special-grade brothers. Being unable to resist the attacks from the sorcerers, Kechizu calls out its brother in despair, forcing Eso to release the technique.
With the effect of Decay gone, Kugisaki and Yuji unleash their full potential, and Kugisaki manages to exorcize Kechizu.
However, even after exorcising it Kechizu’s body didn’t vanish, and watching it die brought tears to Eso’s eyes, which made both the sorcerers realize something about these special-grades.
Learning that he stands no chance against Sukuna’s vessel, Eso tries to run, but Yuji manages to kill him.
Choso, the elder brother of these special-grades, realizes that his younger brothers got killed and soon learns that it was the first years of Jujutsu High who killed them.
Itadori and Kugisaki reunite with Fushigoro, who was exhausted after exorcising a special-grade with a Sukuna’s finger.
Since Yuji has the most energy of the three, Megumi hands over the finger to him, but Sukuna’s mouth swallows the finger from Yuji’s hands.
