‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ returns with its second season next week after more than two years since the first season. During this gap, we also got ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’ which told more about two characters – Yuta Okkotsu and Suguru Geto.
Season 1 ended with a lot of unfinished business. Choso seeks revenge for his brothers who were killed by Yuji. Mahito, Hanami, and others are still running loose to follow Geto’s plan. Gojo suspects a traitor among the sorcerers which is more dangerous than it sounds.
On Friday, Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the second season of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ on July 6. The show will only stream in North America, Central America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Oceania, and the CIS.

Season 2 will further travel back to Spring 2006, 13 years before Yuji consumed Sukuna’s finger. Gojo and Geto, who studied together at the Jujutsu High are assigned a mission by Tengen to escort a girl, Riko.
Riko is a ‘Star Plasma Vessel’, or the best vessel to merge with the immortal Tengen and keep the Jujutsu community going. Gojo and Geto are interrupted by Toji Fushiguro, who wants to kill the Star Plasma Vessel.
Tatsuya Kitani is performing the opening song “Ao no Sumika” (Blue House), while Soushi Sakiyama is performing the ending song “Akari” (Lantern).
The new season will run for two cours, featuring ‘Gojo’s Past’ and the ‘Shibuya Incident’ arcs. It will be available in the following languages:
- English
- Spanish (Castilian)
- Spanish (Latin American)
- French
- Portuguese (Brazilian)
- German
- Italian
- Russian
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ was full of fear-inducing action and is still known for its complex battle techniques. You would agree if you watched the ‘Sister Goodwill Event’ arc that showed new sorcerers. The second would likely tell us more about Geto and why he chose to fight against sorcerers.
