As Jujutsu Kaisen is about to end in 5 chapters, fans have been on their toes waiting for a whiff of what will happen in those chapters. Luckily for them, the leaks are out and it is pandemonium out there.
The leaks of the next chapter (to-be-released) 267 are out, and they are a complete shocker. You have been warned: you WILL be spoiled. So, tread with care. And let us see if Gege has made a mess or done magic.
1. What happens in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267?
According to leaks that were posted on social media, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 begins with showing Gojo and Yuta doing their body swap training. They discuss what to do with Sukuna’s last finger.
They finalize on the decision that there will be better uses for the finger than to give it to Yuta to master the Shrine with Copy. But after this scene, we are brought back to the reality of the fight between Sukuna and Yuji.
Sukuna notices that Yuji himself is missing two fingers. This is other than the one sacrificed to save Megumi. The Demon King realizes that he has been tricked and that the finger that was fed to Rika was not actually his but Yuji’s.
The most shocking appearance is that of Nobara. Nobara who has been DOA for a massive amount of time, appeared on the death portraits a few chapters back, giving a confirmation of her status.
But we can see in the manga leaks that she is back, and she tells Yuji he is not alone and that he can rely on her. Nobara has the final Sukuna finger and uses Resonance.
The King of Curses is severely hurt, and Yuji doesn’t miss the opportunity to land a few more hits. Using Dismantle, he causes significant damage to Sukuna. Understandably, Sukuna is enraged and attacks Yuji back. The chapter, according to the leaks, ends with Yuji landing a massive blow on Sukuna.
We, as loyal readers, can only speculate (But what about Gojo!) and hope that Gege Akutami has something profound in his mind and won’t mess it up. The only way to know for sure is to wait for the chapter to drop. (fingers crossed)
2. What happened in Chapter 266?
Chapter 266 showcases the efforts of Yuji in persuading Megumi to return. After a seemingly fruitless heart-to-heart, Sukuna finds himself slipping into the shadows, featuring Megumi’s return to action.
Chapter 266 begins with the scene where we can see Yuji Itadori reaching out to Megumi Fushiguro’s soul. In this emotional moment, Megumi pines deeply, wishing for a better world for his sister, Tsumiki. He doesn’t want a world where Tsumiki has to live in agony but one where they can live in peace.
Yuji offers his understanding and deep empathy for the agony and despair Megumi is feeling. Yet, he knows that he cannot be hypocritical enough to ask Megumi to return to a world without hope.
Yet, astonishingly, amidst the clash of Yuji and Sukuna, we see that Sukuna’s leg is submerged in the shadows, signaling the return of Megumi. Megumi’s soul starts to fight back, and Megumi and Yuji team up to take on Ryomen Sukuna.
