We get a small recap of what happened on Yuta’s side when Higuruma was fighting Sukuna. Before dying, Kenjaku added that special rule through Kogane, and as he lost control of Geto’s body, all the imprisoned curses started going on a rampage. Yuta quickly ended this new chaos with Rika’s help and rushed back to the main battle.
While facing off against Sukuna, Yuta didn’t want to take any chances and opened his domain “Authentic Mutual Love.” The domain is a graveyard of swords with multiple weapons at Yuta’s disposal. On top of that, he can also use his cursed technique, “Copy,” freely while in the domain. He also brought Yuji inside the domain, and now the final showdown is about to start.
1. Chapter 250 Raw Scans, Leaks
Rika, Yuta, and Yuji will attack Sukuna from all sides in chapter 250 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown Part 22.”
Sukuna will be completely dominated by the trio’s lethal attacks. The battle with Gojo Satoru has severely weakened the king of curses. Yuta has spread out his domain, with each sword containing one technique.
The power of this domain can be measured by the fact that even Yuta doesn’t know which technique is hidden in which sword, and their numbers are infinite.
Sukuna is still unable to expand his domain, and Yuta’s domain stops him from using other strong techniques. Additionally, Yuji has been aiming for the barrier between Sukuna’s and Megumi’s souls. Each of his attacks is an attempt to disrupt the harmony and rouse Megumi’s soul.
Seeing how they have been fighting, Sukuna acknowledges that the Jujutsu High sorcerers have been strong on their defenses. Yuji has strengthened his reversed cursed technique, and Yuta’s domain’s sure-hit effect has been narrowed down to only him.
Yuta also acknowledges that if not for the after-effects of his fight with Gojo, they would have been annihilated long ago. An intense tussle ensues again. Yuta uses clairvoyance against Sukuna.
Yuta prepares to surprise Sukuna with a technique he hasn’t seen until now. He picks up a sword and rushes straight for Sukuna’s head. The latter catches the sword, but Yuta unleashes Cleave. Sukuna is left shocked that he got wounded by one of his own techniques.

I. Yuji is Mahito?
One of the most hyped moments in both the Jujutsu Kaisen manga and the anime was that one scene where Yuji said, “I am You” to Mahito. After chapter 249, that might be true to some extent. Sukuna revealed that Yuji has the power to strike directly at people’s souls and do damage to them. Now tell me that doesn’t sound similar to Mahito’s powers.
This also gives rise to the question: is the popular fan theory regarding the “Black Box” true? The theories about it say that it can store cursed techniques and release them at will, and this was how Sukuna used the fire attack back in Shibuya. Many fans believe that instead of Sukuna, Yuji is the one who holds control over this “Black Box.”
II. Okkotsu Yuta’s Survival
We all know how the author of Jujutsu Kaisen, Akutami Gege, absolutely loves to play with the reader’s emotions. Given his past records, it really does make everyone worried about the well-being of a fan favorite, Okkotsu Yuta. It’s no secret that he derives his power from his love for Rika and vice versa. Even his domain is the manifestation of that love.
The next chapter happens to be coming out just before Valentine’s Day, so it’s very much possible that Gege ends Yuta’s story in this fight by using this as an opportunity to trample over this theme of love. Whatever the outcome of the fight maybe we are in for a lot of action in the next chapter since both of our main characters (In case you didn’t know, Yuta was supposed to be the protagonist at first, but later Gege introduced Yuji) are going against Sukuna together.
4. Chapter 249 Recap
The chapter kicks off with a flashback of Yuta’s fight with Kenjaku. After he severed Kenjaku, albeit Geto’s head, all the curses that were under Geto’s cursed technique’s control got released all at once now that the body was dead. With Rika’s help, Yuta quickly took care of the curses that were going on a rampage.
Before Kenjaku completely died, he summoned Kogane to add that special rule about the activation of the merger. Yuta stabbed his head to end it all, and in his final moments, he said that he was glad he played around with Takaba. The flashback ended, and in the present, the face-off between Yuta and Sukuna is about to start.
Yuta noticed that Sukuna’s cursed technique output was returning back to normal and regretted his decision to go after Kenjaku. Then again, he understood that no one other than Rika could take care of the out-of-control curses so fast. Yuta attacked Sukuna and tried to stab him with his blade, but Sukuna caught it with his bare hands.
Yuta quickly switched stances and punched Sukuna with all he had, but Sukuna kept countering the attacks. Seeing the severity of the situation, Yuta decides to use his trump card. We see Yuta’s domain for the first time in the show as he uses domain expansion. His domain is called “Authentic Mutual Love,” and the domain resembles a graveyard of swords.
To protect himself from the sure-hit effect of the domain, Sukuna had to use two different barrier techniques. Yuta declared that he would end the fight in the domain. We see that Yuta brought Yuji inside the domain, too, and after such a long time, it was revealed that Yuji possesses a cursed technique that lets him hit People’s souls rather than their bodies.
