Takako replies with her concerns about being reincarnated in the Culling Game. She also says getting to live a second time makes her want to maximize the opportunity.
Yuta finds Takako’s ideals absurd and contradicts her motives. Takako finds Yuta to be like one of the Fujiwara she despises. To make matters worse, Ryu intercepts the talk by firing his Granite Blast.
Yuta barely manages to dodge such an attack while Takako realizes Ryu is closer than she thought. Considering two major threats taken out, Takako can take Ryu and Yuta out without a problem.
Yuta is in a tight spot since Rika keeps the civilians safe and knows he’ll have to fight with his own strength. He then swiftly heads towards Ryu on the roof. Ryu watching Yuta, finds it appealing and starts firing his cannon blasts.
As Yuta dodges the first wave of attacks, the second wave makes Ryu think the fun is over. Ryu then finds Yuta missing but spots him on the rooftop approaching him. Now up close with Ryu, Yuta gets ready to fight in a close-combat match.
