Chapter 147 takes us back to the day when Masamichi Yaga was marked as a ‘special grade’ for creating Panda. For those who don’t know, Panda is no ordinary cursed puppet; it has cursed energy of its own and doesn’t rely on the sorcerer.
The higherups feared that Yaga could create an entire army of living puppets with this secret technique. Gakuganji interrogated him regarding his creation, but he didn’t speak a word.
Back to the present, Yaga knows that his end is near. The higher-ups have already passed orders for his execution, and the only way of survival is to reveal the secret behind his cursed technique.
Meanwhile, in the isolation room, Atsuya cuts the rope and frees Panda. Atsuya says that he cannot stand the fact that Panda is being used as bait to lure Yaga.
While searching for his son, Yaga confronts a mysterious man, who threatens to kill him if he doesn’t spill the secret. It seems that Gojo’s imprisonment has given much freedom to the higher-ups and other Jujutsu sorcerers.
