We see that the fight between Mahito and Todo + Yuji continues to escalate. Some fans put down Mahito for “trying to copy Gojo” as he uses a new 0.2-second Domain expansion, which Gojo had previously used.

This seems to be a likely attempt to finish off Todo before he claps back to Yuji, who carries within him a pissed-off Sukuna. The question falls to whether Todo can escape Mahito’s domain as Mechamaru had suspected.

Mahito seems to want to kill Todo and provoke Yuuji so that he changes into Sukuna. Mahito believes that Sukuna is the only worthy opponent for him.

5. Recap of Chapter 128

Mechamaru apologizes to Miwa who cries her heart out hearing his voice. He apologizes for not being able to protect her and for being weak. He tells to find her happiness and informs her that if she is happy his wish will come true.

The scene itself is tragic as the two are unable to convey or confess their feelings for each other. All Mechamaru can do for Miwa is to warn her about the danger in Shibuya and pray for her happiness.

The whole scene is witnessed by Utahime Sensei, Nishimiya, Noritoshi and Mai.

They get angry when Mechamaru tells Miwa that Todo and Nitta will be able to handle the situation. Utahime tells them not to worry about the words of a dead man. Nishimiya however gets angry with Miwa’s tears.

Meanwhile, Mahito feels the damages caused by Kugisaki affect his fight with Todo and Yuji.

Todo’s black flash has no effect on Mahito as it is unable to attack his soul. The three seem to have brought out 120% of the potential.

Mahito counters Todo’s switch and attacks with a soul multiplicity followed by a body repel curse charging towards Todo and Yuji.

Mahito lunges towards the two and breaks off a part of the road covering the subway station.
