Fumi wondered why Nobara did not cry while leaving her, but left that selfish thought aside. Nobara told Fumi that the next time they see each other they would be with Saori as well and they both agree.

The narrative shifts to Saori as we see her in an office in Tokyo talking to her colleague. Saori talks to her colleague about her memories in the village and how she befriended Nobara and Fumi. She remembers Nobara and wonders how she is now.

The scene changes to Nobara as she smiles and tells Yuji to inform everyone that “it wasn’t so bad” when a side of her face explodes and Yuji is left mortified by this whole incident.
