To inflict an emotional blow to Yuji, Mahito then transforms his hand into a Junpei-looking creature as it begs for help and stabs it through the head.
With almost every other character incapacitated, dead, or missing in action, it looks like we are about to reach the endgame of this arc.

1. Chapter 122 Discussions and Predictions
The recently released chapter 121, titled “The Shibuya incident: Part 39”, showcased some new moves from Yuji such as the Taido martial arts’ “Manji Kick” and even Mahito revealed terrifying new abilities known as “Soul Multiplicity” and “Body Repel”.
The current chapter ended with Yuji taking the lead in the Yuji vs. Mahito battle. In the upcoming chapter, we may be presented with more new abilities from both characters, especially Yuji.
As most of the characters in the series are out of action or have met their end, it is highly likely that we are concluding this particular arc.
In the previous chapters, we witnessed Sukuna taking over Yuji’s body resulting in the death of several hundred people and the destruction of a huge part of Shibuya.

I. Mahito’s New Cursed Technique
Mahito is back with his cold-hearted demeanor and terrifying new skills. In his battle against Yuji Itadori, we see him using a move called “Soul Multiplicity”. This cursed technique merges two or more souls and results in “Body Repel”.
Soul Multiplicity creates a reaction due to the rejection of fusion because souls aren’t meant to be fused together and attempting to do so results in a destructive phenomenon known as Body Repel.
By using this effect and increasing the soul’s energy, the devastating output can be directed towards your opponent. This is exactly what Mahito does to deliver a detrimental blow to Yuji.
II. Yuji’s New Move
In the current chapter, the Yuji vs. Mahito battle is still going strong. Yuji continues to try his best to not lose control because embodying negative emotions would only strengthen the jujutsu and he also tells himself that Nanami would never let his emotions get the best of him.
Just as it appears that Mahito will emerge the winner, Yuji unleashes a new move! He calls it “Taido Martial Arts Manji Kick”. The move is lightning quick and utilizes the strength of his legs rather than the upper body.
An interesting fact about this move is that Taido is an actual martial art from Japan that has its roots in Okinawan Karate.
