JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s Hirohiko Araki – Interviewed on Writing Memorable Villains

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki is well known for his insightful interviews. In his last interview given to Japanese literacy magazine Kotoba, he mentioned how he learned the fundamentals of storytelling from Sherlock Holmes.

Now, the news is out that Kotoba will interview him again in its 2020 spring issue on the topic “writing memorable villains.” Magazine’s theme for this issue will be “the research of evil” and will feature Dio on its cover. It will go on sale on March 6.

In this interview, Kotoba will be discussing the creation of Dio in depth. In the previous interview, Araki also admitted that he would’ve never created Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures if he hadn’t read Sherlock Holmes.

A new trailer for the second OVA ‘The Run’ was released last month. The trailer featured a new character, Yoma Hashimoto. (https://www.epicdope.com/jojo-bizarre-adventure-releases-trailer-for-new-ova-the-run/)
