JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is the kind of story that, no matter how absurd it gets, its cult-like followers constantly force people to get into it. The worst part is that the series is actually pretty awesome, which is hard to admit because you didn’t think it would be this good.
The franchise was in the news all through 2022 because it finally adapted the Stone Ocean manga as an anime.
After such a phenomenal year of the Stone Ocean anime, the manga series looks forward to returning.
Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine has teased the ninth part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga named ‘The JOJOLands.’ It is scheduled to begin serialization in the magazine’s March 2023 issue on February 17.
The story follows a boy who becomes extremely rich in the subtropical islands. Hirohiko Araki has stated that the protagonist is a descendant of Joseph Joestar or Fumi from the manga’s eighth part, JoJolion.
Moreover, the plot is set in the Steel Ball Run universe and is the third part in that series after Steel Ball Run and JoJolion. This signifies how the JoJo bloodline is alive and thriving even in the future.
The teaser doesn’t state much, like who the antagonist is or if Dio Brando is coming back in some form. Will some ally, worshiper, or descendant of his try to bring the vampire back and wreak havoc on the world?
There’s only one way to find out: waiting for the manga to launch.
We can all agree that nothing can beat the original JoJo universe, but the new one doesn’t look that bad either.
So, if you’re the type of fan who doesn’t want to move on to the new parts, I totally understand. However, I would still recommend that you give the Steel Ball Run universe a chance.
