He described how one of his Miyama stag beetles healed a broken mandible last night, while a Hercules beetle that was with it died.
He revealed the cactus with the grafted Rocacaca branch and said that it’s what Josuke, Mamezuku, and everyone else is after it and hid it.
He asked Kaato if it’s safe to keep the plant in their house as they’d be found if kept outside.
Kaato asks if there should be a fruit on the branch growing on the ‘Rokakaka branch.’ Joubin explained that it hadn’t grown yet, but they’ve got the branch, and once it grows, they’ll have their hands on the fruit.
Kaato asks about the fire he mentioned. Joubin replied that everyone thinks the branch was burnt in the fire, and nobody can know it wasn’t.
Kaato had asked if he was working alone, so Joubin revealed that Tsurugi was in on it as well and that the curse will likely affect him soon.
Joubin had expressed that he wants to tell his father, Norisuke, about the plant. But Kaato had slapped him and told him to do it on his own.
