The story of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean follows the female protagonist, Jolyne Cujoh. It continues the tradition of JoJo leads having ‘JoJo’ somewhere in their name. In this case, Jolyne Cujoh.
Set in 2011 America, Jolyne Cujoh is sentenced to 15 years in prison after being involved in a car accident and framed for murder. She is imprisoned at the Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida, nicknamed the “Aquarium.”
Her father, Jotaro Kujo, gives her a pendant that causes a mysterious power to awaken inside of her. When a series of inexplicable events occurring, Jotaro informs his daughter that a disciple of DIO framed her so that he could kill her in prison and urges her to escape.

Jolyne Cujoh is the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. She is sent to the maximum-security correctional facility Green Dolphin Street Prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Her Stand is Stone Free, which allows her to unravel her body into elastic thread.

Ermes Costello is a female inmate. This is not her first time behind bars. Cheerful and compassionate, she gives the uninitiated Jolyne advice on life in prison.

F.F. is a sapient being consisting of plankton. She is another female inmate Jolyne meets inside the prison.
IV. Emporio Alnino
Emporio Alnino is a mysterious boy who wears a baseball cap. For some reason, he can move around the prison freely despite the tight security. He takes a cooperative stance towards Jolyne, but his goals and identity remain unclear.
V. Weather Forecast
Weather Forecast is a mysterious man who stays in a secret room inside the prison. He is taciturn and expressionless but is also cool-headed and possesses excellent judgment and insight.
VI. Narciso Anastasia
Narciso Anastasia is an inmate who is in love with Jolyne and wishes to marry her despite her evident lack of interest. He stays in the secret room with Weather.
VII. Jotaro Kujo
Jotaro Kujo is Jolyne’s father. He comes to rescue Jolyne, who has been imprisoned on false charges. He is divorced from his wife (Jolyne’s mother), and it has been many years since he and Jolyne last met.
VIII. Father Enrico Pucci
Enrico Pucci is the main antagonist of Stone Ocean. He is a loyal disciple of DIO. Pucci is a Stand User and manipulates the mind and soul through his Stand, Whitesnake.
6. What Is The Episode Count?
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series has never had a constant number of episodes in its previous installments. As such, it has its lowest episode count in season 1, with only 26 episodes. The highest episode count is 48 episodes from season 2.
Stone Ocean has a total of 158 chapters, so judging by the release of previous arcs, this means we could expect to see anywhere between 39 to 48 episodes.
