In a recently released behind-the-scenes video for John Wick: Chapter 4, an artist was seen performing a perilous stunt of falling down an escalator. The film is slated to release in theaters on March 24, 2023.
The movie is directed by Chad Stahelski, who was also a stuntman in the past. Keanu Reeves, who plays the titular character, will once again battle against the High Table in different settings, including Japan.
As with previous installments, viewers can expect to see some astonishing action scenes and breathtaking stunts in John Wick: Chapter 4.

The TikTok account of Lionsgate has released BTS footage from John Wick 4, displaying a stunt artist falling down an escalator, with John Wick and Akira played by Rina Sawayama following closely behind.

After Keanu Reeves shared which stunts from the John Wick franchise were the most challenging to shoot, the BTS footage of the John Wick 4 escalator stunt has been generating a lot of buzz.
One of the stunts that Reeves mentioned was from John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, where he rode a horse down Fifth Avenue in New York City. This involved numerous departments working together, such as horse trainers, rig operators, and Humane Society representatives to ensure animal safety regulations were followed on set.
Although Keanu Reeves performs a majority of his stunts in the John Wick films, he has never attempted anything as perilous as the escalator stunt.
The spine-chilling stunt has garnered more than 50 million views online, initiating a conversation about introducing a stunts category in the Oscars to give due credit to performers. Like the previous movies in the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4 is pushing the limits with its stunts, and the astounding escalator fall is a testament to that.
