Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has earned its place as one of the biggest isekai series in recent times. Not long ago the anime wrapped its first season, and fans are counting down the days until its special OVA drops in Japan.
For many of those fans, they’ve turned to the manga to keep them busy while they wait, and a new report has confirmed another spin-off is on its way.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation confirms a new spin-off titled “Mushoku Tensei: Eris wa Honki de Kiba o Togu (Jobless Reincarnation: Eris Gets Serious About Sharpening Her Fangs).”
The series began serialization on Square Enix’s Gangan Online magazine app on March 15, and the website version will arrive on March 29, 2022.
Jobless Reincarnation spinoff will be serialized in the “Gangan ONLINE app” from 3/15 (Tuesday) -Eris seriously sharpens her fangs-
(Original: Rifujin na Magonote / Composition: Yu Okano / Character draft: Shirotaka)
I am in charge of the drawing.
The web version will be released on March 29th.

Jobless Reincarnation: Eris Gets Serious About Sharpening Her Fangs’ story will follow Eris during her travels after being separated from Rudeus at the end of the 6th volume/first season.
Eris has short hair according to the illustration provided by Higake Taka. I’m sure Eris will get into plenty of battles along the way, and of course, she’ll make new allies with each stop in her journey.
Eris’ side-story is not the first Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation spin-off as “Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious” started back in 2017. Roxy spin-off features art by Shoko Iwami and the story by Rifujin na Magonote.
‘The adventures of Eris’ sounds pretty cool, and I’m totally up for this. From the glimpse of Eris’ visual, her hair did grow back a little from her cut in the final episode of season 1.
With Eris getting her own spin-off, I’m eager to know if there might be another spin-off getting cooked behind the scenes.
About Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
“Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go To Another World” is an isekai light novel series that was initially published on Shosetsuka ni Naro since November 2012 before Media Factory started publishing under its MF’s Book Imprint in January 2014.
The light novel series wreaked havoc, and it was a success; soon after, i.e., in May 2014, Media Factory started serialization in its magazine ‘Monthly Comic Flapper’. Many spin-off manga have been launched that connect with the same universe.
After more than half a decade, the light novel series was adapted into an anime television series by Studio Bind in 2021.
