With the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor getting closer, Respawn Entertainment has provided fans with more exciting details about the game’s new features and mechanics. One thing that its predecessor lacked is the freedom to explore more exotic locales and the sequel is set to improve on that.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will give players the freedom to explore more “wide open” planets. According to the video in which IGN detailed its 5 hours of hands-on gameplay, the sequel will improve upon the linear layout of planet exploration featured in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
The IGN video details Koboh, a new planet featured in the sequel. The video gives us a look at how the planet is going to look in the game. IGN also mentioned that while early stages of Koboh were restricted, the planet will become much more open as you progress through the game.
The more open structure will allow players to explore more and encounter more secrets and enemies. IGN mentioned that players can also stray from the main objective and explore more regions in a specific planet. However, it’s worth noting that some areas will require additional upgrades to access.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is shaping up to be a worthy successor, improving upon almost every aspect of its predecessor. The wait is nearing its end as the game is set to release on April 28th and hopefully, the game will deliver an epic Jedi adventure that will make fans of the franchise happy.
