Jarnsmida Pitmines Puzzle Solution in God of War Ragnarok

Struggling to get past the Jarnsmida Pitmines Puzzle in God of War Ragnarok? Here’s an easy guide for you.

The first step in solving the Jarnsmida Pitmines Puzzle challenge is to help Atreus climb up onto a higher platform. When he stands up, he will jump over, and you can use Square to tell him to pull a lever. You can then jump across the platform that is dropped as a result. There is only one drawback—it will continue to move. When it is parallel, you must freeze the nearby gear in order to jump over it.

After crossing across, jump to the next platform, where you can pull a grappling point with your blades and turn a water trough with them. This will elevate the obstacle that is currently in your path.

Drop down, ascend to the next level, and then use your axe to stop the water flow in the trough. This will lower the concrete block and allow you to grip it. Once you’re on top, use your axe to lift yourself up so you may hop across and unlock a gate to meet Atreus.

Jump across the tiny gap on the opposite side to move the cart. You’ll receive a light source for the mines when Sindri appears. You might enter the mines right away from here, but you might as well collect some goods beforehand, such as a Kvasir’s Poem.

Once you have Sindri’s light source and are immediately adjacent to the mine’s entrance, you will come under attack from several of the frog-like foes. Clean them up.

Once they’re dead, turn around to the right of where you pulled the cart (as viewed from the angle you first approached it), and you’ll find a grapple point for your swords. You may pull on it to turn a water trough and send a giant crane spinning.

Smash the red jar to shatter the nearby rubble, then return the way you came.

You can now get hold of a sizable concrete slab near where you and Atreus opened the gate. From there, turn around and hurl your axe towards the trough above the hook point to stop the flow of water. The crane will revolve once more, but it will drag you along this time. You’ll find a Kvasir Poem and some other goodies on the other side.
