James Cameron, the director of blockbusters like Titanic and Terminator, congratulated the whole team of Avengers: Endgame for overtaking the box office collections of his 2009 film, Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all times.

Avatar remained on the top of the list for ten years and that ten-year run came to an end this Monday. Avatar earned $2.7897 billion in the year 2009, and the Marvel movie dethroned it after the re-release making $2.79 billion.
