1. How to unlock Purple Seal Doors in Pagoda Realm

In Black Myth: Wukong’s Chapter 3, you’ll awaken in the Pagoda Realm’s prison after defeating Kang-Jin Loong. Upon exploring, you’ll encounter prison cells sealed with a purple mark, which cannot be opened by force.

To shatter this barrier, you must find and defeat Captain Lotus-Vision, a powerful Yaoguai Chief. The seals will be lifted by absorbing his spirit, granting access to previously inaccessible areas.

This will allow you to engage with the initial NPC and uncover the secrets hidden within the Pagoda’s locked rooms.

2. Locating the Boss Fight

Upon awakening in the dimly lit jail cell of the Pagoda Realm, exit and step onto the narrow ledge that wraps around the vast, cavernous room. Head left, and you’ll discover another cell adjacent to yours, sealed with a mysterious purple circle magic seal. Interact with the NPC inside, then continue along the ledge, passing the Lantern Wardens stationed along the railing, towards the first Keeper’s Shrine.

From the shrine, enter the adjacent prison cell and navigate the tunnel behind the cells. Emerge on another section of the ledge and follow it to the stairs, ascending to a fork in the path. Take the right path, which doubles back on itself, leading you through twists and turns. Use the wooden beam to cross to a smaller ledge, avoiding the watchful gaze of an archer perched above.

Proceed through the narrow passageway and defeat the enemy standing guard near the slope. Ascend the slope, where you’ll encounter a red-haired yaksha. You can engage in combat and defeat him or choose to bypass him and continue onward. Finally, reach the Upper Pagoda Keeper’s Shrine, activate it, and save your progress.

3. Defeating Captain Lotus-Vision

From the Upper Pagoda Keeper’s Shrine, drop onto the roof and make your way down to the left. From this vantage point, deliberately jump down to engage in a challenging battle with Captain Lotus-Vision, a powerful Yaoguai chief.

• Captain Lotus Vision is a floating statue boss that casts homing magical spells and summons stationary turrets firing ground beams.
• The battle against Captain Lotus-Vision unfolds like a swift blade drawing blood, requiring swift reflexes and evasive maneuvers. Since Captain Lotus-Vision excels at long-range assaults, closing the distance is crucial.
• Utilize powerful abilities like freeze to immobilize him, unleash a flurry of attacks, or employ Pluck of Many to maintain a defensive stance. A nearby checkpoint ensures a full mana bar, allowing you to immobilize the Captain and unleash powerful attacks.
• When projectiles are launched, use staff spin to deflect them effectively. Watch out for laser beams, as they inflict significant damage and cannot be blocked by the staff.
• Conserve stamina for sprinting, attacking, and dodging projectiles, as the Captain frequently teleports around the arena. Invest in stamina-boosting skills to enhance your build and overcome this challenging encounter.

Upon defeating Captain Lotus-Vision, his Spirit will be captured and added to your Key Items inventory. With the Spirit in hand, the purple seals on the prison cells will automatically be lifted.

4. Acquiring the Ashen Slumber Spell

To exit the area, head to the room’s rear, near the previously locked gates, and ascend the slope to the left. Drop down to find yourself back near the initial beam. Return to the Lower Pagoda Keeper’s Shrine and proceed to the previously sealed prison cell.

Inside, interact with the NPC and claim the sword from the defeated two-headed rat, earning you the Ashen Slumber spell. This powerful transformation spell, unlocked by defeating Captain Lotus-Vision and freeing the NPC, allows you to transform into a Rat Guai, unleashing slashing attacks and fierce flames that inflict Scorch Bane on enemies.
