Iwa Kakeru! Episode 9 Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

Episode 8 revealed the winner of the Kanto Bouldering Championship. The Hanamiya Climbing team fails to acquire one of the top three positions.

However, Hanamiya girls didn’t get demotivated by this defeat, and are looking forward to the Combined Japan Highschool Cup, which will be held in six months.

Meanwhile, Jun decides to take a leave from the team and train separately. Will Jun come back before the tournament starts?

Iwa Kakeru! Episode 9, titled “Wall 9: The Princess of Climbing,” will be released on November 29, 2020. Crunchyroll will stream it.

2. Episode 9 Speculation  

In Episode 9, Hanamiya girls will be preparing for the Combined Japan Highschool Cup. Nonoka needs to put aside all her self-doubts and past failures and focus on the upcoming tournament.

Konomi has to make up for his lack of experience. She will participate in competitions and tournaments to train her mind to stay calm, even in tense situations.

As the title suggests, we may get introduced to one of the best climbers of Japan. 

3. Episode 8 Recap 

Episode 8 takes us to the semi-finals of the Kanto Bouldering Championship. Team Hanamiya’s captain manages to one-shot the first two problems. However, she hurts her finger just before she climbs the top of Wall 2.

While climbing the third wall, she feels intense pain in her fingers. She stands frozen and immobile and finally runs out of time.

She knows that she shouldn’t attempt Wall 4 with her current situation. She remembers the effort put by each member to go this far and decides not to give it up.

Wall 4 is tougher than the rest of them. She feels the unbearable pain once again when she tries to grab it with her left hand.

Everyone could see her suffering in pain. She asks the audience to cheer for her, and one by one, people start cheering for her.

Shortly, the whole stadium resonates with the “Go go Yotsuba” cheering. She makes it to the top. However, she cannot continue climbing in this condition, so she has to withdraw her name from the final rounds.

The Hanamiya Climbing team goes to the final rounds with Konomi as their only hope. She fails miserably, and team Hanamiya fails to acquire one of the top three positions.

St. Caterno’s captain Fujita Masumi is awarded for the best individual performance, and Iwamine comes second. Iwamine’s Kurikawa High wins the title for the best climbing team.
