Episode 7 showed how unpredictable life is for a sportsman. Jun was initially confident that she would succeed since Konomi, who has been bouldering for a few months, could one-shot the first three problems. But things didn’t go as planned.

Her overconfidence prevented her from analyzing the problems correctly, and she was utterly panic-stricken after 2-3 failed attempts. She fails to clear any of the problems. How will she deal with this failure? We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.

2.Episode 8 Speculation 

Episode 8 will continue with the semi-finals of the Kanto Bouldering Championship. The three Climbing Dames will compete against each other for the top spot. 

We will get to see how Jun deals with her failure in the Semi-final rounds. She is passionate about climbing and has worked harder than most of the other climbers.  

The fact that she lost to her teammate, who started climbing just a few months ago, is difficult to deal with. She cannot accept that her years of hard work didn’t stand a chance in front of Konomi’s analytic skills.

3.Episode 7 Recap 

Konomi takes too much time in analyzing the fourth problem. She has exhausted herself after clearing three problems in a row, and her brain suddenly shuts down. She gives a try before running out of time but eventually fails.

Meanwhile, Ooba struggles to clear even one of the four problems. She was utterly defeated by the wall named Konomi and finally accepts that Konomi is in another league.

She secures the Zone point of the last problem, leaving the rest for her team captain.

Jun was initially confident since Konomi, who has been bouldering for a few months, managed to one-shot the first three problems. All her illusions break when she slips while climbing the first problem.

This unexpected taste of failure makes her panic-stricken, and her mind freezes. We get to see flashbacks from Jun’s school life, where she failed to socialize and make friends due to her obsession with climbing.

After consecutive falls, she fails to attempt the fourth problem as she was too afraid of another failure. The semi-final rounds break her completely as Konomi tries to comfort her, but it was of no use.

The show follows Konomi Kasahara, a high school junior who had been a hardcore gamer in her middle school days. Throughout her schooling, she has won various puzzle solving competitions. She wishes to use her puzzle-solving brain on some other sport.  

The story begins when she finds a climbing club in her high school. Using her refined analyzing skills, Kasahara becomes fascinated with climbing.
