However, all her notions fall apart when a cute little girl, named Falfa, claims herself to be Azusa’s daughter. She reveals that she was born from the slime spirits that Azusa killed, and her sister, Shalsha is determined to avenge the countless Slime spirits.

It seems she wasn’t joking; Shalsha appears before them with the sole intention of killing Azusa. With decades of training, Shalsha has mastered Smite: Evil magic, a kind of magic that gets more and intensified as the target is specified.

For example, Smite: Humans will be more effective compared to Smite: Living things. Here, the magic Shalsha uses is Smite: Witch of Highlands, so you can imagine how strong she is.

Seeing that her Tornado magic is not of much use, Azusa resorts to a far more superior kind of Witch magic. She combines red flames with blue flames gives rise to a black flame (The technique felt hilariously identical to Gojo sensei’s ‘Purple’).

Surprisingly, Shalsha negates all the black flames with ease. It seems that even a level 99 Witch is no match for her. Seeing her master on the verge of death, Laika steps into the fight and defeats the overpowered girl.

The only possible explanation for this miracle is, Shalsha spent all the years solely for preparing to defeat Azusa, so she is pretty weak when someone else fights her.

Shalsha wakes up to see that Azusa has taken care of her wounds. She tries to use her Smite magic again but realizes that it’s still decades before she can unleash that immense power.

Azusa decides to take in the two children and live together as a family. The Witch of Highlands, who live alone for 300 years, now has two daughters and an apprentice to take care of.
