Isekai Quartet is an anime series that has a chibi-style presentation and is a massive crossover between many isekai light novel series like Overlord, Kokosuba, Re:Zero, Saga of Tanya the Evil, and recently the Rising of the Shield Hero franchise.

There has been no official confirmed release date for the S3 adaptation of Isekai Quartet. But the production of the new sequel has been confirmed.
With a great response from fans to this crossover style anime, Isekai Quartet Season 3 has been announced to include new anime series like BOFURI, Plunderer and more.
The official Twitter of Isekai Quartet stated that the anime is currently in progress. It is speculated that the season will be released by August 2021.
Fans can assume that they don’t need to wait for long as this news has been confirmed even by Crunchyroll so the release could be announced anytime soon.

It is comedy gold, very light-hearted, and nothing too serious.
IV. Was Season 2 any good?
Season 1 of Isekai Quartet was a fan service novelty showcasing some of the best Isekai characters in one sitting inside a high school. The comedy is mostly due to the huge cast and references to their corresponding anime, time and time again.
It is a fan’s dream to see their favourite characters from different anime interacting with each other on 1 screen. Even if you haven’t watched one or more of these, this anime is a good way to spike up curiosity in a few series on Crunchyroll.

No new key visuals for Isekai Quartet season 3 have been released yet. One thing that keeps this anime a little exciting and a mystery are that it is not adapted from any manga or novel.

5. Recap
Isekai Quartet revolves on the characters based on Overlord, Re: Zero, The Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Konosuba, where they are accidentally transported into a parallel world. After pressing a mysterious red button, it transports them to a new world where all the comedy takes place.
All the characters are transferred to the same class in high school. Fighting is forbidden and they learn to get along with each other while at the same time listen to a senile teacher.
Using their quirks, which may seem ridiculous, they try to adapt to this ‘ordinary’ world as compared to their strange ones. A new transfer student joins them every year and makes their adventures even more amusing.
6. Expected Storyline
Since this anime is completely based on the producer Minoru Ashina and not on any light novels or manga, it’s hard to say what will happen next.
