Episode 5 of Isekai Ojisan didn’t provide anything new or different, which was disappointing. We’re still in the same apartment, watching Uncle ruin his entire other-world experience in the same manner we’ve seen him do many times.
This time, he played with Mable, the white witch whom he “liberated” from her obligations and told to chase her fantasies of doing nothing. While I concede that was a nice joke, repeating it so quickly was pushing it.
This episode still had some humorous moments, and the visual style was unusual and straightforward to look at, with some nice reaction shots peppered throughout.
Episode 6 Speculations and Discussions
Uncle said he was misunderstood as a rare orc and got sold to a freak show. Based on the ending moments of episode 5 and the title of the upcoming episode 6, it is pretty clear that the next episode will continue the story that Uncle left halfway.

Episode 5 Recap
This episode is a nightmare for individuals who enjoy predicting what will happen next because that’s what this one kept throwing at us. Unexpected storyline within a tale, then it went on to something new.
The episode concentrates on the narrative of Uncle being assassinated this one time in “another world.” We learn from the tape that it was the ice clan princess whom Uncle had wrongfully influenced so that she turned all the villagers into ice with her power.
It appears that she attempted to kill him since he did not bring the sword with him to fight the dragon, which caused the townsfolk to denounce her.
We also notice that while she was sleeping, Uncle placed a ring on her ring finger, giving her the impression that he had married her in her sleep. When she finds Uncle merely gave it to her to sell and live happily ever after, she tries to kill him again.
Finally, the ice clan princess freezes Uncle and the elf, and she begins chatting. Uncle continues with his narrative, which appears to be going badly, with horrifying recollections of how Uncle was tormented in “Another World.” Takafumi requests a pause, and they all enjoy the time in between.
