1. Is Isekai Ojisan on Break This Week?
The official website for Hotondoshindeiru’s Uncle From Another World (Isekai Ojisan) manga’s television anime announced on Wednesday that the anime’s fifth and subsequent episodes have been delayed due to rapid increases in COVID-19 infections at Atelier Pontdarc and other studios involved in the anime’s production.
The fifth episode has now been rescheduled for August 17, with the sixth and seventh episodes showing on August 24 and 31, respectively.
Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 of Isekai Ojisan is titled “You Helped Me Through Tough Times”. The episode begins with one of Takafumi’s memories where he is being teased by his classmates when he was reading a novel and he is saved by Fujimiya.
She is pictured as a boyish character in his memory, and she terrified those students. Fujimiya exclaims that she grew a lot more girly in middle school and proves it by showing his uncle a picture of her and Takafumi.
We discovered that Ojisan’s phone is unable to send or receive emails or even make phone calls. Takafumi contacts him using flags because smoke signals are prohibited.
When Fujimiya compliments his coffee, he tells him that his uncle gave him 10,000 yen as a birthday gift. As a birthday present, she sends him a photo of herself in a swimsuit from when she was in middle school. He promptly deletes it, warning that it could lead to her arrest and social ostracisation.
Then a notification about coffee bean sales appears on his phone, and he dashes out the door to get some.
When Ojisan comments on this, she becomes enraged. The hot coffee was going to get poured over her, but Ojisan used his magic to freeze it, freezing her as well. He offers her Takafumi’s clothes after she showers at their residence and then leaves so she is not uncomfortable.
While changing, Takafumi unintentionally caught a glimpse of her, which humiliated them both. He acknowledges that he thinks she’s cute and apologizes for staring at her. She expressed her flattery to him, but he mistook it for thoughtfulness.
He turned the flag upside down to summon Ojisan to help him forget about the incident. He is unable to accomplish this because of Fujimiya.
The narrative then shifts to Fujimiya and Takafumi drinking together when she tells Ojisan she turned 20 on that day, and Ojisan confirms he is 35 currently. He then shared his memory of his first drink.
He saw Tsundere again and made her accompany him to his hotel room because he couldn’t hold his drink.
Fujimiya offered Ojisan a drink, but he couldn’t stomach it. With his magic, he made both of them fly across the skies.

Isekai Ojisan is a manga series by Hotondo Shindeiru. It has been serialized in ComicWalker since 29th June 2018. An anime adaptation by AtelierPontdarc premiered in July 2022.
