Buncololi and Kantoku’s ‘Sasaki and Peeps’ light novel series has been a hit since its web novel release in 2018. The authors’ unique portrayal of adult life with a touch of fantasy has resonated with readers, making it captivating.
Although the anime adaptation was announced in 2022, fans lost hope of seeing it. However, a recent announcement has renewed their excitement with details on the premiere window, cast and crew, and a teaser trailer.
A new promotional video was teased for the upcoming anime adaptation of ‘Sasaki and Peeps.’ The video reveals the cast and the show’s January 2024 debut.
Crunchyroll will stream the series worldwide, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. The anime’s first episode will premiere at Anime NYC this weekend.
The 90-second trailer features a warm and soothing animation in which the protagonist, Sasaki, visits a pet store to find a companion. He chooses a cute Java sparrow named Peeps, but he has no idea that this impulsive decision will lead to a series of events that will alter his life forever.
A new key visual was also revealed, featuring the main protagonist and other characters.
