Irregular at Magic High School Season 2 Episode 12: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

The day to bid farewell to the “senpai” has come as National Magic University affiliated First High School held its 29th Graduation ceremony.

Shizuku is also back home and has a lot of messages for Tatsuya from Ray. But the time has also come to say goodbye to the visitor, Lina, as she also departs for USNA.

After a bittersweet episode, the light novel’s visitor arc is wrapped up, and the series has introduced two new characters.

1. Episode 12 Discussions and Predictions

The second half of the 11th episode set up everything for the next phase of the story. The next two episodes of the season are going to be anime original story written especially by Satou and will not cover the light novel.

Thanks to Tatsuya shaking up things, the school has decided to create a new class division called Magical Engineering, with Tatsuya and Mizuki opting to enter this class.

Also, as Miyuki and Tatsuya bid farewell to Lina, they hope to work together again, with Lina joining Tatsuya. Tatsuya is probably thinking about developing magic for energy generation, freeing the magician’s current role as the military.

3. Episode 11 Recap

I. February 20, 2096

After the fight with the parasites, Tatsuya, Lina and everyone else go back to their normal magic high school lives.

However, Lina still sometimes ponders about the offer Tatsuya made to her, about leaving the military. She releases that she can be someone other than Sirius.

II. March 15, 2096

It’s the graduation day for third years, and while everyone was at the graduation party, Tatsuya writes some notes about system-level assistance that could lengthen spell duration. Saegusa and Jumonji visit Tatsuya to bid farewell.

III. March 26, 2096

Shizuku is back in Tokyo, and Tatsuya, Miyuki and everyone else goes to pick her up from the airport. As they are leaving the airport, Tatsuya notices Lina at the airport, going back to USNA.

She had deliberately not told anyone about her leaving, but by coincidence, Tatsuya and Miyuki get to meet her before she leaves.

IV. April 5, 2096

The new school year has begun, and Tatsuya has joined the new course. Mizuki and Chiaki are also joining Tatsuya in this new course. As they go on with their everyday school lives, siblings from the Kuroba Clan, a branch of the Yotsuba clan, arrive in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Maya hires Minami to be Hayama’s bodyguard to the Tokyo Offshore Tower party. A radical magic supremacist group is targeting the event and she has to accompany him and follow his instructions if the situation demands urgent attention.

The Irregular at Magic High School is based on a web novel series by Tsutomu Sato, published on an internet web novel website between 2008 and 2011. 

The series is set in a world with an alternate history, where magic exists and has been polished through modern technology. However, the ability to use magic is determined by genetics, limiting the number of magicians in existence.
