Valheim, the latest and greatest co-op on PC, is having a great week. After being on top of Steam’s Bestseller List for the second week in a row, the game now has a new roadmap for updates and DLC.
Since it’s launch earlier this month, the game has clocked a whopping 3,67,000 concurrent players and will see some beefy new updates added to its already vast Norse world over the course of 2021. Here’s what they are going to be:
While the names of the first three seem fairly cryptic, a good estimate would be to say that Hearth and Home will probably expand the building and crafting options currently available in the game. In the case of Cult of the Wolf, it seems like new storylines and plot points will be added to the game along with new enemies for players to overcome.
There seems to be no indication on what Ships And The Sea is going to be but Mistlands will definitely be bringing a brand new biome to the mix. At the moment, there are six biomes for players to explore ranging from oceans to swamps. All that fans know about Mistlands so far is that they are filled with tall and ancient trees wrapped in a mysterious cobweb-like substance.
The final major update, If Odin Wills It, will bring small improvements to the game that may or may not find their way to the game:

For a game that’s been around for barely a month, it’s promising that the developers over at Iron Gate AB already have plans that will keep players invested and interested well into the near future. Although the release dates of the DLC are not confirmed, players are already engaging with the game at unprecedented levels.
