Intel Core i9-13900K Crosses 40K in Cinebench R23 with Unlimited Power

Two months before the announcement in September, CPU benchmark results are already appearing for Intel’s next-gen flagship Core i9-13900K model. The CPU recently scored 26464 points in the multi-core Geekbench 5 test.

Twitter user @OneRaichu tested Intel’s flagship Core i9-13900K CPU in the Cinebench R23 benchmark with unlimited power.

The 24-core Raptor Lake processor scored 2290 points in single-core and 35693 points in multi-core Cinebench R23 tests, respectively. The testing was done with default power and clock settings.

The power consumption was recorded as 254W, the CPU’s rumored PL2 power limit.

Comparing the multi-core performance of Intel’s i9-13900K with the i9-12900K and AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X at different power settings:

  • 350W (Unlimited Power): The i9-13900K is 48% faster than the i9-12900K and 67% faster than the Ryzen 9 5950X.
  • 250W (Limited Power): The i9-13900K is 30% faster than the i9-12900K and 48% faster than the Ryzen 9 5950X.

The i9-13900K was also tested by ECSM but with the AIDA64 Stability Test and HWiNFO. The results showed that 2 out of 8 available Raptor Cove Performance cores reached 5.8 GHz during the test.

The rest of the Performance cores ran at 5.5 GHz, and all 16 Gracemont Efficient cores remained at a constant of 4.3 GHz.
