After a series of delays, Intel has finally unveiled the price as well as the release date for its upcoming flagship cards, the Arc A770 and the Arc A750.

The Arc A770 8GB model starts at $329 (CAD 448$ & €332 approx.) while the 16GB Limited Edition model is priced at $349 (CAD 476$ & €352 approx.) . The Arc A750 is priced at $289 (CAD 395$ & €291 approx.). Intel has also revealed that the cards will release on October 12.

The Limited Edition will be available through retail partners on the launch date. Intel has confirmed the US market as certain. The company is now working on supplying cards to other countries and markets. However, there is no official MSRP for other countries as of now.

Intel has claimed that its A7 Arc GPU beats Nvidia’s mainstream champions, specifically the RTX 3060, at both 1080p/Ultra and 1440p/High across a collection of over 50 games.

While the A7 A750 is a tiny bit slower than the flagship A770, the performance that the card will provide is still incredibly impressive as compared to the RTX 3060.

Performance Per Dollar

Intel also claims that the A770 and the A750 will offer insanely more performance per dollar than the RTX 3060. Intel Fellow Tom Peterson stated in a briefing that it’s an “absolutely astonishing price that will reset the market”.

With the benchmarks still yet to be released, the prices provided by the cards are stunningly compelling. If the A770 and A750 truly end up beating RTX 3060 at such a lower price point, it could reset the mainstream GPU market and Intel could prove to be a worthy competitor to AMD and Nvidia.
