Apparently, Intel has started testing its desktop Arc A580 GPU ahead of its supposed launch date during the Innovation event scheduled for September 27.
The first known benchmark of Intel’s desktop Arc A580 graphics card was spotted online on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark website; Intel’s Arc A580 scored 9300 points and an average of 95 FPS at Minimum 1080p setting.
The graphics card was seen running with an Intel engineering sample CPU with 16 cores. Although Ashes of the Singularity supports DirectX12 API, the Arc A580 was tested with Vulkan API.
For comparison, NVIDIA’s RTX 3060 scored within 75 to 96 FPS with the same preset setting. However, Intel has declared the A750 as its competitor.
AotS does not provide any information on system specs like memory configuration or ReBAR settings, so this testing is far from accurate.
Intel has heavily marketed its next-gen Arc A7 GPU series, but only the entry-level A380 model is available for review. Although the official specs have not been released, Intel’s Arc A580 is rumored to have 16 Xe-Cores and 8 GB GDDR6 memory.
Here are the rumored specs for the Arc A580:
GPU | ACM-G10 |
Xe-Cores | 16 |
FP32 Cores | 2048 |
Memory Size | 8 GB GDDR6 |
Memory Bus | 128-bit |
Memory Clock | 15.5 Gbps |
TBP | 175 W |
MSRP | $200-$249 |
