Insane XP Glitch Lets You Farm Weapon XP—Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is out globally and it’s the biggest launch for a Call of Duty game ever. Millions of players are grinding their lives out in order to get better at the game and unlock various unlockables like guns, skins and all other perks. But the process of grinding can get really exhausting at one point, because you’ll be playing for days to unlock one item or level up. But some fans have already found a glitch to make the grind a bit easier.  

In order to do this glitch in Modern Warfare 2, you’ll need to hop on top of an armored enemy vehicle and toss a suppression mine inside. If you succeed, you’ll receive 340339,000 XP but failing the trick will get you nothing. That’s how players are farming XP to ease the grind. 

This XP farm exploit was first discovered by a user on Reddit and then reposted by @MW2CODHub on Twitter. Check out the tweet below showcasing the XP farm exploit: 

What happens is, the suppressor is constantly re-triggered by the individuals in the enemy armored tank, which causes the game to give you additional XP each time. There are a few problems though when performing this exploit. Firstly, you’ll need to find an enemy tank and then place the mine inside it. The mine has a long cooldown time so be aware of that. Lastly, you need to perform the trick without getting killed by opponents in the match. 

But there is some good news too. These tanks spawn in Invasion mode and these matches have AI-controlled allies and opponents throughout the entire map, so it’ll be a tad bit easier finding a tank and placing the mine. It’s worth noting that you also have to know when and where the tanks spawn in order to perform it successfully.

Don’t worry if you can’t find a tank, because Invasion mode offers a decent amount of XP if you can take down groups of AI-controlled enemies, which makes Invasion mode a substantial mode for farming decent amounts of XP. 

But if you get lucky, and do end up finding an armored enemy tank, you know exactly what to do so do the trick correctly and you’ll easily be able to farm XP. It might not be the best way to farm XP, but it’ll do the job at least until Activision finds a way to patch it.
