For years, Anime Expo has provided otakus with a place to reconnect with like-minded people. It is an almost festive occasion for those who can’t wait to participate in this brief wonderland visit.

Anime Expo Lite will be a two-day digital livestream hosted from 3rd to 4th July (12 pm – 8 pm PST).

This year, the convention is revamping things up a bit with its J-Novel partnership! J-Novel Club, the company known for digitally publishing translated and licensed light novels and manga, will be present to sate the curiosity of all readers!

Not only is it bringing new announcements and the latest title information, but fans will also get the opportunity to ask questions to the panel team!

As we have already reported, tickets will be priced at $5 each, and all proceeds will be donated to the Hate Is A Virus commUNITY Action Fund.

If you are too busy on 3rd and 4th July and miss out on the event, don’t worry. All ticket holders can rewatch the entire live stream on a VOD basis from 5th to 16th July!

Not only is Anime Expo aiming to enrich the Japanese culture in America, but it is also lending a hand to those in need of help. With racism posing a threat to today’s society, the Hate is a Virus fund will create a space for the victims’ standpoint.

J-Novel Club has recently been acquired by Kadokawa, and fans are expecting some popular Kadokawa titles to be licensed soon. New series announcements will likely be made during the live stream.

If you have been waiting for a particular manga or light novel, you now have the once-in-a-lifetime chance of asking the authority directly!

So prepare your best questions and get ready for a fun-filled digital event to catch the latest news regarding your favorite series.
