After establishing himself as a harem character in season 1 of In Another World with my Smartphone, Touya will be back to acquire more wives in season 2.
At this point, it almost seems like God is overcompensating Touya for having accidentally killed him. Nine wives? Really? I bet other harem anime characters would be jealous of so much affection.
In Another World With My Smartphone anime has been officially greenlit for a second season. Since Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed season 1, they might premiere season 2 as well.
While you wait for further details on the upcoming season to get revealed, check out this awesome new illustration that was created to celebrate the announcement:
Touya has already impressed enough ladies in the first 12 episodes of the anime, but does that mean he will stop anytime soon? Not really, but it’s time for him to take care of some other grave matters.
A new villainous organization that consists of creatures called ‘Phrases’ will make their presence known in season 2. These crystal creatures come in many forms, from crickets and snakes to high-level beasts like crocodiles and gorillas.
The Phrases have similar powers to that of Touya. Thus, Regina will make weapons that are effective against the creatures and hand them over to Touya and the girls.
From here on out, the plot will include more battles, magic, and adventures than before, as Touya and Co. will dive into the mystery of these crystal monsters to find out why they are suddenly under attack.
